Board of Directors
The members of the Board of Directors for the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence are a dedicated group of volunteers who have the responsibility of directing the organization's financial development, public policy, and fiscal oversight, which helps to ensure the continued success of OAESV. Retired Licensed Professional Counselor
Ms. Connolly keeps busy since retirement as a
School Counselor and Educator for 31+ years by working with SA
PATH Circle, S.T.O.P., and the Lucas County Human Trafficking
Coalition. She has presented a program titled Losing Maria
to colleges, universities, community groups, and to the All Ohio
Counselors Conference 2010, to educate the public regarding
human trafficking. Linda has kept her Licensed Professional
Counselor status active, remaining "on call" if she is asked to
work with a trafficked person or sexually abused individuals
until relocation to a safe house or safety measures are in
place. She brings to the OAESV Board: a love of connecting
people to resources to help them grow individually or as a
group, and a passion to stop sexual violence in our world
through education.
Julie Harris
Counsel
Lubrizol Corporation
Julie Harris is an accomplished attorney who provides counsel to business leaders regarding regulatory risk and compliance issues. Julie currently serves as counsel for the Lubrizol Corporation. Prior to joining Lubrizol in 2010, she served as Senior Counsel for Novelis Corporation, was a partner at the law firm Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, and an associate at the law firm Squire, Sanders and Dempsey LLP.
Julie is a passionate advocate for survivors of sexual assault. She joined Cleveland Rape Crisis Center’s Board of Directors in 2001 and served as Board President from 2007 to 2009. During Julie’s time on CRCC’s Board, the organization more than doubled its budget and cash reserves. Julie led CRCC in a number of significant accomplishments, including:
- Creating and implementing two strategic plans.
- Growing biennial fundraiser Sing Out! to earn over $275,000 in 2008.
- Initiating an “earned income” venture.
- Developed and invested in the first-ever endowment fund for CRCC.
- Recruited and added strategic new Board members to address the needs of CRCC and plan for its future.
- Actively identifying and soliciting new donors to CRCC.
- Moving CRCC into new offices that offer a state-of-art and trauma informed environment for survivors of sexual violence.
- Creating and implementing new policies and procedures for a growing organization.
Julie received her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and her BLS in Political Economy from Bowling Green State University. She resides in Beachwood, Ohio with her family.

Teresa Matthews
Witness/Victim Coordinator
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office
Ms. Matthews is the Witness/Victim Coordinator for the
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office where she assists the Major
Trial Unit by providing advocacy for sexual assault survivors
and families of homicide victims. Teresa is a Registered
Advocate with the Ohio Advocate Network. Prior to joining the
Prosecutor’s Office, Teresa was the Director of Advocacy
Services at the Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. In addition
to her current role Teresa is the Cuyahoga County Sexual Assault
Response Team Administrator.
James Miller
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney
Licking County Prosecutor’s Office
Mr. Miller grew up in Dayton, Ohio, and graduated from The
Ohio State University with a B.A. in Psychology. He worked
in the Development Department of BalletMet Columbus, doing
fundraising and grant assistance before attending law school at
The Ohio State University. During law school, he interned
at the Ohio House of Representatives and externed with Judge
Mason of the Franklin County Domestic Relations Court, as well
as participated in the Journal on Dispute Resolution and the
moot court competition, focusing on civil rights. Mr.
Miller currently serves as an Assistant Prosecutor in Licking
County, working in the Juvenile Division, prosecuting delinquent
offenses committed by and against juveniles, as well as
representing Licking County Children Services in removals of
children and interventions with families in crisis.
Jaime
Miracle
Policy Director
NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio
Jaime Miracle is the Policy Director for NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio
and has worked for the organization since June 2004. Prior
to working with NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio she worked at the Ohio
State University College of Optometry conducting research on
infant visual development and in the College of Medicine working
on breast cancer prevention research. She also interned with the
Buckeye Region Anti-Violence Organization (BRAVO), to prevent
and serve survivors of domestic violence and hate crimes within
the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender, communities.
She is currently completing a Master’s in Social Work degree at
the Ohio State University and is doing her thesis research on
the impact that access to family planning services has on a
woman’s mental and physical health. She has a bachelor’s
in philosophy with a focus on women’s health from Miami
University’s Western College Program and currently lives in
Columbus, Ohio with her partner.

Judi Moseley
Injury Prevention Program Consultant
Violence and Injury Prevention Program
Office of Healthy Ohio - Ohio Department of Health
Judi Moseley has more than 25 years experience in public health working extensively in the areas of women’s health and sexual assault and domestic violence prevention at the Ohio Department of Health (ODH). Judi has served as a consultant for the Region V Office on Women’s Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services directing initiatives addressing sexual violence prevention and immigrant and refugee women’s health. She also provided consulting services for strategic planning and program develpment for local non-profit organizations including sexual assault prevention and crisis intervention programs.
Judi is currently an Injury Prevention Program Consultant for the Violence and Injury Prevention Program at ODH and has served in that capacity since February 2009. Judi is coordinating the ODH initiative addressing unintentional deaths from prescription drug overdoses. As part of that job she has been leading a state Prescription Drug Abuse Action Group (PDAAG) that developed recommendations for a state plan to submit to the Director of ODH, the Director of the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addictions Services and other state policy makers. Judi provided leadership for the PDAAG in planning and implementing a state symposium on prescription drug overdoses that took place in Columbus in July 2009. Judi has also served as a staff liaison for the Ohio Prescription Drug Abuse Task Force (OPDATF) coordinating the Public Health Work Group and participating as part of the writing team for the OPDATF report to the Governor.
For more than 20 years Judi was the Program Administrator for the Women’s Health and Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Prevention Program at the Ohio Department of Health overseeing a budget of up to 4.6 million dollars at one point. In that capacity she initiated the first statewide Women’s Health Month program in the country in 1985. This program was recognized nationally and used as a model for other states. Judi also managed a statewide sexual assault prevention grant program that provided funding and technical assistance to local sexual assault prevention programs.
Judi has served on national advisory committees for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Office on Women’s Health under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and on the board of several organizations including the Columbus YWCA and the Ohio Hispanic Coalition. She is currently on the board of The Center for Balanced Living (formerly the Center for the Treatment of Eating Disorders and Psychotherapy) and on the Steering Council for the establishment of a new state sexual assault coalition, the Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence (OAESV). Judi has also received numerous awards for her work in women’s health.
Judi’s degree is a B.A. in English and Education with a minor in Counseling Psychology from Muskingum College.

Kristin Richner
Squire, Sanders and Dempsey (US) LLP
Ms. Richner resides in Worthington, Ohio with her husband and
three children, ages 7, 6 and 3. She is a restructuring
attorney at Squire, Sanders and Dempsey (US) LLP, where she has
worked for the past 7 years. Ms. Richner received her
Bachelor's Degree from Denison University in 1997 and her law
degree from UCLA in 2000. She enjoys spending her down time
with her family.
