CORE STANDARDS FOR RAPE CRISIS PROGRAMS IN OHIO

In 2013, OAESV published Core Standards for Rape Crisis Programs in Ohio, a comprehensive document defining direct service and administrative service standards for agencies and programs in Ohio who serve survivors of sexual violence.  Compiled by a committee of advocates from across the state, the intent of the document is to ensure consistent services for survivors in Ohio, to formally identify and describe characteristics that define rape crisis services in Ohio, and to serve as a resource for programs on best practices, continuing education and staff training.
