The Ohio Alliance to End Sexual Violence (OAESV) is excited to serve as the Ohio Department of Higher Education's (ODHE) vendor for the 2018 Campus Climate Survey, providing a range of options to collect high quality data to inform your action plan for addressing sexual assault on campus.
The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) enforces, among other statutes, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Title IX is meant to protect people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive Federal financial assistance. Title IX states that: No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
OAESV has partnered with the Feminist Activism class in Wright State University's Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program. Through this course, students volunteer with OAESV and complete group projects aimed at ending power-based violence and supporting survivors.
